Government sources only

Visa requirements, straight from the source.

VisaBuddy shows you officially published visa routes and requirements, exactly as governments state them. Every answer is linked, dated, and free of guesswork. Information, not advice.

No account needed. Nothing you type is stored after your session ends.

How it works

Three steps. Zero guesswork.

VisaBuddy is a careful librarian, not a consultant. It finds the official pages, shows you what they say, and hands you the links.

1
๐ŸŒ

Tell it where and why

Pick a country and share a few factual details: purpose of travel, whether you have an offer or sponsorship, who is coming with you.

2
๐Ÿ“ก

It reads the official pages

VisaBuddy retrieves the government's own guidance live, at the moment you ask. Blogs, forums, and agencies are excluded by design.

3
๐Ÿงญ

You get the routes that match

Every officially published route that mentions your circumstances, with requirements, documents, steps, and dated links to the source.

What an answer looks like

Structured, attributed, and dated.

No walls of text and no advice dressed up as help. Each answer names its route, quotes the official criteria, lists the documents and steps, and links every claim to the government page it came from.

If more than one route matches, you see them all, presented neutrally, so the choice stays yours.

Coverage

Why trust it

Built to stay in its lane.

Immigration decisions are serious. VisaBuddy is deliberately limited to what can be done safely: showing you what governments publish.

โœ… What VisaBuddy does

  • Shows official requirements exactly as published, with attribution
  • Links and dates every source, so you can verify everything
  • Lists official help channels: helplines, portals, embassies
  • Points sensitive topics straight to official channels

๐Ÿšซ What it never does

  • Assess your eligibility or predict your outcome
  • Recommend a visa route or tell you what to do
  • Use blogs, forums, agencies, or hearsay as sources
  • Store your personal details after the session ends
Questions

Fair questions, straight answers.

Is this legal or immigration advice?
No. VisaBuddy provides general information from publicly available government sources. It never interprets rules, assesses eligibility, or tells you what to do. For personalised advice, speak to a qualified professional; for the UK, use a regulated immigration adviser.
Where does the information come from?
Only official sources: immigration ministries, home affairs departments, official visa portals, government guidance documents, legislation pages, and embassy or consulate pages. Blogs, forums, agencies, and news commentary are excluded by design, and every answer links to the exact pages used.
How fresh is the information?
Every answer is built from a live retrieval at the moment you ask. Nothing is cached or reused, and each link carries the date it was retrieved. Requirements change, so always confirm against the linked official page before acting.
What happens to the details I type in?
They are used only during your session to find the officially published routes that mention your circumstances, and they are discarded when the session ends. No account, no profile, no stored personal data.
What if my situation is complicated or urgent?
Some topics deserve a person, not a screen. For matters like asylum, appeals, or anything time-critical, VisaBuddy deliberately steps back and points you directly to official helplines and services rather than summarising options.
Is VisaBuddy connected to any government?
No. VisaBuddy is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any government. It reads what governments publish and presents it faithfully, with links so you can verify at the source.

Know the rules before you pack.

Ask VisaBuddy about your destination and read the requirements exactly as the government wrote them. Two minutes, zero jargon.
